Our Payment Options

At Tarr Personal Care Home we offer pricing in monthly plans based on the level of care required

by each individual. The level of assistance needed and costs associated with this standard of care

are always agreed upon in advance. Regardless of the level of care your loved one requires,

we can help you understand your options and ensure you’re accessing any and all benefits

available to you.

Private Pay

Most often people in need of non-medical care pay for it via private pay or out-of-pocket.

This can include:

  • Savings and/or pension plans
  • Financial assistance from family members
  • Reverse mortgages
  • Annuities
  • Life insurance policies, etc.

Long-Term Care Insurance

There are a number of long-term care insurance policies that cover our personal care home

services, but some have strict criteria on what type of care is covered. If you have a long-

term care insurance policy, we can assist you in determining if the care you need is covered.

Veterans’ Benefits

Veterans who served at least 90 days of active duty, with at least one day served during a

wartime period, may qualify for the Veterans’ Pension. A veteran, or the spouse of a veteran,

who requires long-term assistance with activities of daily living may be eligible for monthly

disability payments known as “aid and attendance” by the VA.

Medicaid (for Qualified Individuals)

Low-income older adults and those with a lack of other financial resources may qualify for

Medicaid-covered care. The Medicaid Waiver Programs we accept are CCSP and
